The minimum booking is generally 28 nights (Surcharge may apply for shorter stays as indicated in the table below, please discuss).

Over the Christmas/New Year period we increase both the nightly rate and the minimum stay requirement – this is necessitated because of difficulties with servicing, and the need to make special arrangements at a time of year when most of New Zealand is on holiday. Also, at this time of year we need to keep to a maximum of two guests (only one bed is available at this time).

WINTER SPECIAL:  During the NZ Winter Season, we have significant discounts available for stays of twelve or more weeks (conditions apply).

CONDITIONS

Deposits

50% of the total fee is needed to secure your reservation. This guarantees the apartment is booked out exclusively to you in the online calendars. For reservations under the Special Deal deposit is by arrangement.

Cancellation

Cancellations impact us significantly as your reservation effectively takes City-Bush Retreat out of the market for the period of your reservation (other clients cannot consider it as it shows as unavailable in the online calendar), therefore in the event that you need to cancel your booking all or part of your deposit would be retained as follows:

  • Cancellation more than 12 weeks before start of rental – deposit is refunded less 10% servicing fee
  • Cancellation within 12 weeks of arrival – No deposit refund
  • Cancellation within 4 weeks of arrival –  means the full fee is payable as it is by then effectively impossible to recover the situation
  • For long term stays and arrangements under the Special Deal offer, please ask about Terms and Conditions for cancellation etc.
  • However, whatever the situation, should you have to cancel we will try our absolute best to fill your reservation with an equivalent booking and if this is achieved, we would give provide a refund

Balance of fee – The remainder of the full fee is due at 4 weeks before arrival (or by arrangement)

We do encourage guests to have travel insurance to cover risks of cancellation
